A release is an open call – usually from a label (or sometimes from a producer with an upcoming release on a label that is not their own) – for electronic music tracks, with the commitment that one or more tracks will be signed and released on that label.

Note: If your track is signed via G=TE, it only means that track is released on that label – it doesn’t mean you’re officially signed to the label.
